• Become Mario™ as he traverses gravity-bending galaxies, traveling in and out of gravitational fields by blasting from planet to planet. Players experience dizzying perspective shifts as they run upside down through wild alien worlds that need to be seen to be believed. Whether you're surfing on a ray across an ocean in the clouds, rolling on a ball through a treacherous garden, or floating in a bubble over a poisonous swamp, there's no limit to the cosmic challenges you'll encounter!
  

• Controlling Mario is simple with the Wii Remote™ and Nunchuk™. Players move Mario with the Control Stick and shake the Wii Remote to perform a spin move or cue stars that launch him to and from planetary objects. Players can even point at Star Bits to collect them or latch on to stars to blaze a magnetic trail through the heavens.
  

• Don't want to head into space alone? With a second Wii Remote, another player can play alongside by pointing at and collecting Star Bits, then launching them at enemies. The second player can even sweep aside projectiles or stall enemies to help make Mario's adventure easier.
  

• Search the depths of space for all-new transformations! As Boo Mario, you can hover over the ground and even slip through walls! Or, transform into Bee Mario and buzz through the sky.

Every hundred years a comet passes over the Mushroom Kingdom and rains down stars and stardust, and as Princess Peach and the citizens of the kingdom are celebrating the centennial event, Bowser and his legions attack by launching asteroids at the Mushroom Kingdom and crystalizing the Toads! Knowing that Bowser is after Princess Peach, Mario runs to save her. Things go awry as Bowser summons a massive spaceship, abducts Peach's entire castle and hits Mario with a massive magical attack. The next thing he knows, he finds himself on a mysterious moon high above the Mushroom Kingdom! Navigate Mario through a bevy of exciting new worlds and the depths of space, with all new enemies, power-ups and attack skills, as he collects the Stars needed to save Princess Peach!
